Preparation

The food:

Before assembling the honeypot enrichment recipe for dogs- pick your choice of dog food you are going to use. If you are using dry food or kibble, in a small bowl mix equal amounts of food and water and leave to rehydrate.


Fact: using your dog's food in enrichment toys is a great way to add volume and longevity to the play without adding too many calories to your dog's diet. Make sure when adding part of your dog's daily food intake to the enrichment toys that you are balancing it out during mealtimes.
