Product Details

The SodaPup Water Frog Design Shallow Slow Feeder brings two enrichment ideas together in one playful design. Part slow feeder bowl, part lick mat, its frog-inspired shape is made up of varied depths, compartments, grooves and raised bumps that turn eating into a feeding puzzle. Instead of gulping their food down, your dog has to slow down, lick and forage their way through every mouthful, which supports healthier mealtime habits and digestion while adding a bit of mental stimulation to the day.

It works with wet food, dry kibble or raw meals, as a full meal or a snack, and you can also spread on soft toppings such as peanut butter or plain yoghurt. The shallow shape makes it a particularly good fit for shorter-snouted breeds and smaller dogs, and for a longer-lasting activity you can freeze wet food or broth in the bowl before serving. It is available in purple or green.

Instructions
  1. Add your dog's usual wet, dry or raw food, or spread a soft topping into the grooves and compartments.
  2. For a longer-lasting challenge, freeze wet food or broth in the bowl before serving.
  3. Place the bowl on a flat, stable surface at your dog's usual feeding spot.
  4. Let your dog work through the food at their own pace.
  5. Supervise your dog while they eat, as the bowl is designed for feeding rather than chewing.

Every piece is designed to make mealtime more engaging, giving dogs a proper mental workout alongside their usual bowl of food. Its ranges includes slow feeders, lick mats and interactive products that give dogs opportunities to explore, sniff and work for their food.

FAQs

Can I use the SodaPup slow feeder for raw feeding?

The bowl's depth is suitable for raw meals, though it's always worth checking with your vet before introducing raw feeding to your dog's diet.

Is the SodaPup slow feeder suitable for puppies?

Yes, it's designed to work for all dog sizes, including puppies, though it's worth supervising the first few uses to see how your puppy takes to the added challenge.

Will the SodaPup slow feeder bowl actually slow my dog's eating down?

Yes, the varied chamber heights, depths and opening sizes are specifically designed to be more challenging than typical slow feeder bowls, encouraging genuinely slower, more engaged eating.
