How to Feed
COYA's Freeze-Dried Raw Food has been designed to be fed in numerous different ways to suit your dog, budget and lifestyle. You can mix feed with all other options on the market, but make sure you take into consideration the calorific values of the other food.
It is important to remember that COYA, being freeze-dried raw, is a more nutritionally dense product, so you feed less of it than other options on the market.
Daily Feeding Amounts (Adult Dogs)
Dog Weight:
1–5 kg: 19–63g Grams Per Day
6–15 kg: 73–145g Grams Per Day
16–25 kg: 152–212g Grams Per Day
26–35 kg: 219–273g Grams Per Day
36–45 kg: 279–330g Grams Per Day
46 kg: +338g Grams Per Day
These are average guidelines, adjust based on your dog's age, activity level and body condition. If you are transitioning from another food, introduce COYA gradually over 7–10 days.
Rehydrating
COYA Beef Freeze-Dried Raw Food can be served dry straight from the box or rehydrated with a little warm water for a fresher, more traditional raw texture, ideal for fussy eaters or dogs transitioning from wet food.
Storage
COYA is cupboard-friendly, no refrigeration required before opening. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, reseal the packaging and use within the recommended timeframe printed on the box. Always keep the food in its original packaging to preserve freshness.
Fresh Water
Always ensure your dog has access to fresh, clean water when feeding, particularly as freeze-dried food has a very low moisture content of just 5%.
