What's a good gift for a new puppy?

Our carefully curated Gifts for Puppies collection has everything your furry friend will adore, whether you're celebrating a new arrival, a birthday or just want to show some love. For a first gift, you really can't go wrong with an enrichment bundle. It's safe for puppies from 12 weeks old, with low calorie training treats and other ingredients that are kind on a pup's developing digestive system. For puppies going through the teething stage, ZippyTuff Teetherz are ideal for puppies to chew on, made with flexible material to soothe those sharp new teeth. And for settling into a new home, a lavender scent-infused comfort toy can help calm dogs and reduce separation anxiety, a thoughtful touch for those first few nights. For dental health from the start, Whimzees Puppy Dental Treats clean teeth, freshen breath and reduce tartar and plaque, with a softer texture than adult versions Wooof.

What does a new puppy really need?

The essentials for a new puppy cover comfort, play and early training. Getting the right foundations in place makes a big difference. On the comfort front, a warm companion toy like the Warm Bear, which is heated using buckwheat in the microwave, can help soothe a new pup settling into their home. A cosy, safe den is equally important: a lightweight modern pet home shaped like a cone with an oval opening and an extra comfortable cushion gives puppies a wonderful hideaway of their own. For play and stimulation, puppies need toys that are kind on their developing mouths. Puppy-specific rubber toys use a softer compound designed to soothe the tender mouths of teething pups, while still being durable enough to withstand enthusiastic chewing. Puzzle and enrichment toys also help challenge problem-solving skills while reducing boredom and anxiety, great habits to build early. On the training side, small, low-calorie treats are a must. Denzel's Puppy Bites are made from 100% natural ingredients, gently baked in the UK into bite-size treats that are low calorie and perfect for pups from 8 weeks old. And don't overlook dental care from day one, puppy dental chews help build a healthy routine early, keeping teeth clean and breath fresh from the start.
