1. Select a soft food or treat that is safe for your cat and suitable for their usual diet.
2. Spread a small portion over the raised texture, gently pressing it into the surface.
3. Place the mat on a flat, stable area where your cat can reach it comfortably.
4. Allow your cat to investigate the mat at their own pace, supervising closely during initial use.
5. For a chilled treat, spread suitable food over the mat and place it in the freezer before serving.
6. Remove uneaten food and wash the mat thoroughly after each use.
