What makes a luxury dog bed different from a regular dog bed?

The biggest difference comes down to materials, durability and longevity. The Teddy London Boucle beds were born from a fur-mum who was fed up with buying cheap dog beds that only lasted several months and never looked very chic before being thrown away. Luxury dog beds use premium fabrics like boucle, which is hard wearing and strong, along with higher-quality fillings designed to last. The Cloud beds use shredded memory foam that allows a dog's muscles, bones and joints to rest in their natural position, making them suitable for dogs of all ages. They're also built to look the part, as much a home décor piece as a pet accessory.

Are luxury dog beds suitable for dogs with allergies?

Yes, there are options on the collection specifically suited to sensitive dogs. Some of the beds in the luxury range feature an anti-allergic quality filling material, making them a great option if your dog is allergic. If your dog has specific sensitivities, it's always worth checking the individual product descriptions, which include full details on materials and filling.

Are the luxury dog beds machine washable?

Yes and that's one of the things that sets them apart. The Boucle beds are machine washable and therefore last the test of time. They can also simply be vacuumed for a quick freshen up between washes. The Cloud beds are also easy to clean, machine washable and quick drying, so keeping them fresh is straightforward. Do note that the beds are not recommended for puppies or dogs that will chew or scratch heavily, as this might ruin the looping of the fabric. If you have a chewer, take a look at our tough dog toys to keep them occupied instead.

What size luxury dog bed do I need?

Getting the size right is important for your dog's comfort. The Teddy London Boucle beds come in three sizes: Small (73cm x 58cm) for breeds measuring under 50cm nose to tail, such as Shih Tzus, Pugs, and Dachshunds; Medium (94cm x 74cm) for breeds under 65cm such as Corgis, Spaniels, Bulldogs, and Cavapoos; and Large (115cm x 90cm) for bigger breeds under 100cm such as Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Huskies, and German Shepherds. As a rule of thumb, measure your dog from nose to the base of their tail and choose the size up if they're between sizes, dogs love a bit of room to stretch out. The Cloud beds are also available in three sizes to accommodate all breeds.
