Product Details

For dogs who quickly lose interest in ordinary toys, the SodaPup Mod Bone Nylon Chew Toy offers a more substantial option for their chewing routine. Its traditional bone shape is made from a durable nylon and wood composite, designed for dogs who enjoy a firm, long-lasting chew.

The holes along the bone can be filled with a little dog-safe peanut butter or another suitable soft food, giving your dog something extra to investigate as they chew. This food-based feature adds variety to supervised play and offers an engaging activity for dogs who enjoy working at a tasty reward.

The Mod Bone is designed with power chewers in mind and is made using SodaPup’s PETstrong material. The large version is listed for dogs weighing approximately 7–25 kg, although the correct fit depends on your dog’s mouth size and chewing style as well as their weight.

Its firm construction makes it more suitable for confident adult chewers than puppies or dogs with dental issues. No chew toy is indestructible, so supervise your dog and check the toy regularly for signs of wear or damage.

Materials & Care

Materials

The Mod Bone is made from SodaPup’s nylon and wood composite material. SodaPup describes its PETstrong material as non-toxic and FDA-compliant.

Care

Wash with warm, soapy water after use. Alternatively, place it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Clean the treat holes thoroughly to remove food residue, rinse well after hand-washing and allow the toy to dry before storing. Inspect the toy regularly for rough edges, cracks or other damage. Replace it if it becomes unsafe or too worn for continued use.

About the Brand

SodaPup takes plenty of inspiration from nature when designing its enrichment toys, and this honeybee-themed collection is a great example, honeycomb mats, honey stick chews, honey bear dispensers, and now the Honey Pot, all built around the same playful idea. Every piece is designed to make mealtime more engaging, giving dogs a proper mental workout alongside their usual bowl of food. Its ranges includes slow feeders, lick mats and interactive products that give dogs opportunities to explore, sniff and work for their food.

FAQs

Is the SodaPup Mod Bone suitable for strong chewers?

It is designed for power chewers and made from a firm nylon composite. However, no toy is indestructible, so supervise your dog and inspect it regularly for damage.

What can I put in the treat holes?

You can use a small amount of dog-safe peanut butter or another suitable soft food. Check the ingredients carefully and never use peanut butter containing xylitol, which is toxic to dogs. Remove any leftover food after play.

Can puppies use the Mod Bone?

This is a hard nylon chew designed with power chewers in mind, so it may not be suitable for puppies or dogs with dental problems. Choose a toy suited to your dog’s age and chewing style, and ask your vet if you are unsure.
