That colour comes from a top layer of Japanese bamboo charcoal, which helps neutralise odours and effectively hides urine stains from view.

Underneath, six layers of protection work together to absorb urine in seconds, including an anti-leak barrier base that keeps things contained. A natural canine attractant helps encourage your dog to use the pad rather than the carpet, while four adhesive corners keep it firmly in place on the floor, even with an enthusiastic dog nearby. One handy extra: while stains aren't visible on the absorbent top side, lifting the pad lets you check the colour of the urine on the white underside, so you can quickly spot anything worth mentioning to your vet.

1. Lay the Zee.Pad flat on the floor in your chosen training spot.

2. Peel back the backing on each of the 4 adhesive corners and press down firmly to secure the pad to the floor.

3. Encourage your dog to use the pad as part of their toilet training routine, the natural attractant helps guide them to the right spot.

4. Once used, lift the pad to check the colour of the urine on the white underside before disposing of it, keeping an eye out for anything unusual.

5. Replace with a fresh pad as needed.
