It's fitted with a lightweight pressure hook and an easy-open thumb tab, so clipping and unclipping is quick and fuss-free, even one-handed.

The stitching is reinforced with rubber detailing, adding a bit of extra resistance for dogs who like to chew or tug at their gear. At one size, with a diameter of 0.39in and a length of 3.9ft, it's built to suit dogs of pretty much every size, and works equally well for a stroll round the block or a longer countryside walk. Worth noting: the back clip on Zee.Dog's poop bag dispensers isn't designed to attach to rope leads, so bear that in mind if you like to keep hands-free extras on your walking kit.

1. Clip the pressure hook onto your dog's collar or harness D-ring.

2. Press the thumb tab to open the hook when attaching or removing, no need to wrestle with it.

3. Hold the lead as normal; the soft rope stays comfortable even on longer walks.

4. If you use a treat or poop bag pouch, attach it separately rather than to the lead's hook, as dispenser back clips aren't compatible with rope leads.
